Is Madison Square Garden the Ultimate Home Court Advantage for the Knicks in Game 7?

Knicks Game 7, Jalen Brunson

The New York Knicks will host the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden for Game 7, marking the first time since 1995. Ironically, in that 1995 game, the Pacers sent the Knicks home. The Knicks lost Game 6 with a final score of 116-103. From the second quarter onward, the Knicks lacked energy and seemed like a completely different team from Game 5.

This is why teams fight for the 2-seed and home court advantage: to have that extra game at Madison Square Garden.

Not only did they lose the game, but they also lost Josh Hart due to an abdominal injury. His status remains uncertain for Game 7, which would be a quick turnaround for him to heal. Jalen Brunson mentioned in his press conference that he expects Hart to suit up, saying, "It's Game 7."

Either way, the Knicks will have their hands full on Sunday. But I won’t count out this team just yet; they've overcome adversity all season long.
